Refresh vacation rental

This unit was designed to be a partial getaway for a family and a rental property. We did a Refresh not a gut. This is a great example of what you can do with color and existing pieces that are repurposed.

They wanted it to say “ Vacation”.

We went bold with colors of aqua and lime green in the main areas combining mid century modern with old world Florida. The result is Vintage south beach.

The main area we used fun bold aqua stripes above the fireplace and then flanking the mantle and mirror with whimsical flamingos.

The pallet is white with true ocean colors brought out in the accessories.

We limited the art of the wall and went with larger scale pieces to really create focal points. We then framed out the tryout and art with a chair tale border to give it even more scale and Presence.

In the dining room , we found a Art Deco chandelier from Van Teal that has flower buds in the beach glass Colors.

White Leather furniture was selected for durability and that south beach look.

Powders rooms are for fun and our sea turke with the bold ocean color stripes does not disappoint.

The children’s room was done in all bright beach colors. Using vintage beach photos. As well as old beach Racing photos. The Sand pails, surf boards all become part of the decor. The dresser in this room was a buffet taken from the dining room. Painted teal and soft green. It was the. Depressed and painted sea shells strategically placed.

We worked with existing granite and floors and used natural elements like shells to manage the budget.
